LAKSHMI PUJA:-

Mantra:- The one letter Bij, Shrin is known as Lakshami Mantra. The worhip of Goddess Lakshmi brings fortune and prosperity. All desires are fulfilled by uttering the mantra Of this Goddess.

Rules for Worship:- 'Nyasa' of Rishi is to practised after completion of religious duties and ceremonies Of the morning including 'Pitha Nyasa'. Then 'Nyasa' of Nava Sakti is to be performed with the mantra:-

"Shirsi Bhirgve Rishishaye Namah, Mukhe Nivardaraytrichhnd Se Namah,         Hirdaye Shireye Namaha. Om Vibhutayee Namaha."

In the lotus of heart. It is to be followed by 'Asan Nyas' and 'Karanga Nyas'. Then the worshipper should meditate on the Goddess uttering I adore her who is holding a lotus in right hand and showering blessings with her lower right hand as well as holding a lotus in her upper left "hand' and 'Abhay Mudra' in her lower left hand, Who is seated on a lotus With a crown of jewels on her hand, clad in silk cloth." In this manner, 'Manas puja' and placing of the conch is to be completed. After 'Pith-Puja' Puja of Nav Shakti on the crest Of Lotus Petals is to be performed. Then he should again sit in meditation of her image and complete all Other religious rites including invocation and offering Of 'Panch puspa' to her. At the end of these, 'Abaran Puja' is to gone After this, lords of ten directions, Indra and others with their weapons are to be worshipped. Then, the puja is to be finished With the immersion of incense etc, Twelve lacs 'Japas' are necessary for 'Purascharan' of this mantra.
