A devotee (Sadhak) should perform his worldly duties, regarding them as his deity's.

"Yatu karoshi yatu Ashmasi yaijahoshi Dadadhi yatu. Vatu Tapasyashi kontaye Tudookoorusav Mardapanma."

The above sloka means this. "Oh Son Of Kunti Offer me whatever you do, eat, give and pray in meditation. By this way you can get rid of the gins doe to one's karma or actions and attain God." A devotee should completely surrender himself to God, Joys and sorrows, good and bad thoughts.

1. DURGA:- After completion Of usual religious duties and Nyas of Rishis mentioned in Durga mantra 'Karas Nyas' is to be exercised uttering.
(Om Durga Aangashtabhayam Namaha).

This is to be followed by 'Anga Nyas' With the following Mantra:-

"Om Durge Hirdayaye Namaha, Om Durgee Shirsey Savaha, Om Durgaye Shikhaye Vashtu, Om Bhutraksha kavchaye Hoon, Om Durge Durge Rakshni Netar taraye Voshtu, Om Durge Durge Rakshani Kartal Prishth Bhayam Phut."  


After this Sadhaka is to meditate on the goddess keeping his image before his mind's eyes, then he should place the "Arghya". Then pith puja is to be performed according to rules mentioned earlier for "Purascharan" Of this mantra. Five Lacs japas are to be performed.
